Pillar is the student ministry (ages 13-18) at Kessid Church. It is a ministry for students, by students. Our aim is to reach the next generation with the love and hope of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. From the beginning, we felt called to start this youth ministry from scratch. To throw away everything we knew about church from our experiences and start solely with the bible and prayer. Pillar is the product of a few students saying they want to make a difference in their world. It is a product of a few students proclaiming they are not ok with where they fit into the whole church structure. We aim to empower and equip students to lead vital areas of ministry, and in that teach them what God’s desire is for His Bride, the Church. Our desire is to reach a generation of students with the message that God is real and that he loves them and created them for a purpose. Our hope is that as we follow Jesus, we become more like him in our love, our desires, and our actions. Pillar Students Ministry aspires to reach students, connect them in community, teach them the truth of the Bible and equip them to live lives for Jesus. Pillar Student Ministries is doing an Epic Summer Camp for 2010 at Riverview Bible Camp! The camp has a paintball course, indoor & outdoor skate park, high ropes course, low ropes course, outdoor climbing wall, giant water slide, river tubing run, pool, water balloon battle site, water trampoline, the blob, volleyball, camp fire seating for 300, hiking trails, and tons more!!!
Come hang with us as we take a week to talk about the Epic story that God has been telling since the beginning of time, and how He is inviting us to be a part of it.

Cost: $265 ($75 deposit secures your spot)
(The best part about these payment options is that all of the money is not due at once! Once you pay your $75 deposit, you can weekly or monthly pay down the amount due. All payments are due by July 25.)

Fundraising
We are partnering with Papa Murphy’s to offer a way for you to fundraise for summer camp. You can purchase a Papa Murphy’s Peel-A-Deal Cards for $1 each from us and then turn and sell them for $5. There are eight different coupons on the card with a total value of $35. Selling 25 cards earns you $100. You can sell them to friends, family members, neighbors, or anybody that likes pizza!
Additionally, we will also be doing a Car wash on Saturday July 17 at the Kessid Center. The funds raised during this will go towards covering the costs for transportation too and from the camp. All students are required to take part in this event. If you are not able to attend, please let us know.
