T’was a brisk autumn afternoon in the late 70′s when I took my first breath on planet earth. I looked into my mother’s eyes (so she says) and she into mine and that was the beginning of my journey.
That was my sort of “epic” opening for my bio. Riveting, wasn’t it?
Coming back to reality I thought of a few things someone might want to know about me. I’ve worked as a Graphic Artist/Web Content Developer/Creative Communications/Weekend Programming person in church ministry for around a decade. I have experience in these areas in ministry overseas as well. (Which has messed up my spelling and grammar for possibly ever!)
I am a mother of three awesome kids, and have had more pets than I ever imagined which have ranged from dogs, to cats, snakes, arachnids, fish, etc. (Thanks to my wonderful and adventurous husband!)
My hobbies of late include reading classic novels, and making bread (one day I’ll get it right!). Things I’ve always enjoyed are hanging with my friends, collecting seashells, playing computer games, reading fiction, and massive amounts of drawing and coloring.
Reading this over I feel very eclectic. My husband says I’m more like a “nerd.” I’m good with this though. Power to the player, I say!
I’m excited for the Graphic and Web department of Kessid to grow and thrive with a sense of organic, Jesus focused energy. We work from a Mac platform, but our PC friends are always welcome.
