Pillar is the student ministry (ages 13-18) at Kessid Church. It is a ministry for students, by students. Our aim is to reach the next generation with the love and hope of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. From the beginning, we felt called to start this youth ministry from scratch. To throw away everything we knew about church from our experiences and start solely with the bible and prayer. Pillar is the product of a few students saying they want to make a difference in their world. It is a product of a few students proclaiming they are not ok with where they fit into the whole church structure. We aim to empower and equip students to lead vital areas of ministry, and in that teach them what God’s desire is for His Bride, the Church. Our desire is to reach a generation of students with the message that God is real and that he loves them and created them for a purpose. Our hope is that as we follow Jesus, we become more like him in our love, our desires, and our actions. Pillar Students Ministry aspires to reach students, connect them in community, teach them the truth of the Bible and equip them to live lives for Jesus.
